About
Health literacy is the degree to which individuals are able to access it. Understand, evaluate, and communicate information to engage with the demands of different health contexts in order to promote and maintain good health.
Portable Practical Educational Preparation (PPEP), Inc. — along with its coalitions — implements project plans for the Health Literacy Grant from the Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health in partnership with Literacy Connects of Tucson, the Pima County Health Department, and the Human-Centered Design (HCD) agency in order to generate multi-level and multi-system changes that allow Hispanic/Latine persons aged 20-45 and able to give birth to find, understand, and use COVID-19 public health information.
