Santa Cruz Valley UMC is a church in the United Methodist tradition and as such our doctrine is in line with the wider United Methodist Church. If you would like to know more about the United Methodist Church’s history, structure, beliefs and practices, please visit www.umc.org.  This being said, we know that even within United Methodism there are an infinite number of beliefs and practices held by our members and constituents.  We would never assume that everyone believes in exactly the same doctrine and certainly each person practices their faith and convictions in a different way.  At SCVUMC we are welcoming of people all across the doctrinal perspective.  If you are a Christian who is just sorting out your faith, or if you are a life-long United Methodist, you are welcome.  If you’re not sure you believe in anything at all, let SCVUMC be the place you sort out your beliefs.
