About
After being in Marketing for 30+ years, I decided to put all this experience to good use and I started my own business (Elsa M. Jacklitch Photography) on January 6, 2022. I have been passionate about photography for most of my life, having inherited my father’s passion for it. My dream has been to be able to pursue my interest more fully when I retired.
While working I was able to exhibit my work at a number of locations, such as the Oro Valley Public Library, Campus Christian Center Art Gallery at the University of Arizona, SAACA (Southern Arizona Arts and Cultural Alliance) and Marana Chamber of Commerce office. This provided me with an inventory of work to sell and I am currently working on expanding the pieces I will be selling.
I capture the unique flavor of the desert southwest and its surrounding beauty with my landscape photography. Subjects include traditional landscapes, flowers, birds and animals, mission churches and southwestern buildings including the architectural details. I also enjoy capturing the beauty of other areas as well. My travels have taken me through out Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Louisiana, Michigan, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and the Washington DC area.
I am also working on taking photos at corporate events. I have already taken photos for IMPACT of Southern Arizona, SAACA, and Make A Wish Southern Arizona.
